Dharam Ablashi
Dr. Ablashi is a co-discoverer of the HHV-6 virus, the Scientific Director of the HHV-6 Foundation and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee. Dr. Ablashi was Coordinator of DNA Virus Studies at the National Cancer Institute before becoming Director of Herpesvirus Programs at Advanced Biotechnologies. An Adjunct Professor in microbiology at the Georgetown University School of Medicine, he co-edited the book Human Herpesvirus 6 and has authored or co-authored over 300 journal articles on herpes viruses.

Danny Toomey
Danny received his Master’s in Medical Sciences from Alpert Medical School of Brown University and was formerly a Research Affiliate in the Attention Lab at UCSB. He received his BS in Biopsychology with Honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Danny led a study that sought to use attentional deficits to predict Alzheimer’s Disease and is interested in understanding the effects of HHV-6 on the brain.

Tuan Phan
A graduate of Tulane Medical School, Tuan is currently an internal medicine resident at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Tuan has published a number of papers on HHV-6 including a meta-analysis on HHV6B reactivation and subsequent  aGVHD, a review of HHV-6B in liver transplantation and a review of the role of HHV-6B infection on T cell reconstitution.

Harrison Zhu
A medical student At Baylor College of Medicine, Harrison is a research associate and newsletter writer for the HHV-6 Foundation and works with physicians on literature reviews relating to HHV-6. He previously studied biochemistry at University of Texas.
